Donate Movement

Learn about the Donate Movement,
Powered by Goodwill

Seventy-eight percent of our revenue is generated through the sale of donated goods.

Textiles that are not sold to the public are used to make products such as carpet pads or are
sold to third world
countries where there is a great need for clothing. Donated computer equipment
that is not sold to the public is sold to a recycler who, among other things, will not export waste.

In 2013, 15,714,230 pounds of donated goods were diverted from area landfills and were
instead used to generate revenue for life-changing services for local residents with disabilities
or other challenges.
