Goodwill Goodwill Dell Reconnect Program Dell

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin, Inc. has partnered with

Dell to:

  • - Make FREE computer recycling available to more consumers; and
  • - Help raise consumer awareness about the importance of responsibly recycling used computers.

Through this ongoing residential computer recycling program you can donate any brand of equipment in any condition. You can also donate just about anything that can be attached to a computer such as speakers and printers.

Reconnect is managed to both Goodwill and Dell's high standards for workplace and environmental safety. All collection and recycling practices are audited by a third party to ensure these standards are met. These standards include an absolute prohibition on the export of waste and on the landfill of any environmentally sensitive material.

Why you should participate in the Reconnect program

  • - Unlike some recycling programs, you don’t have to pay a fee to get rid of your broken or old equipment.
  • - Your donation is tax deductible as allowed by law.
  • - It’s easy to drop off your equipment. Just stop by any of our attended donation centers. If you have a large quantity of equipment to donate, please call ahead to schedule a donation time.
  • - You are keeping environmentally sensitive materials out of landfills and reducing the amount of waste exported to other countries.
  • - Your donation generates revenue for Goodwill’s mission. Thanks to these and other donations we are helping build better communities by providing employment, housing and support for people with disabilities and other challenges.
