Residential Programs

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin has provided residential services since 1977. Currently, Goodwill offers two housing options: group home living and supportive apartment living.

For more information about our residential programs, contact Elena Golden, Director of Residential Services, at 608-246-3140, ext. 141.

Supportive Apartment Living

Unfortunately, people with limited incomes have few housing choices. This is especially true for those trying to live on Social Security or SSI. In response, Goodwill has developed independent apartments for senior citizens and people with disabilities or other special needs.

With a federal subsidy from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), tenants set aside one third (1/3) of their income as rent to live in these quality apartments. Each apartment building has an on-site property manager who is available to help support residents in a variety of ways.
